Si por algo se recordará la 66ª edición de los premios Grammy es por haber entregado por primera vez el premio al Mejor Album de Jazz Alternativo, galardón que se ha llevado la cantante y bajista Meshell Ndegeocello por su estupendo ‘The Omnichord Real Book’.
Y el resto, el espectáculo y demás, como siempre. Es sabido que los Grammys se dividen en dos grandes bloques. Uno es la música de la gran industria, donde la calidad de la música es lo menos importante y lo que se premia es el dinero que esos interpretes hacen ganar.
El segundo gran bloque es el de las otras música; jazz, blues, gospel, clásica y demás, donde ahí la calidad se valora un poco más.
